Exciting opportunity to join a major insurer in a highly influential management role.


The team manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Traders and for ensuring optimum use of Trading resources to achieve business plan targets and provide service to a designated panel of Brokers. You will also be responsible for regular monitoring of work flow and reallocation/ line balance as necessary to ensure optimum customer service.


The role holder is responsible for the performance and development of direct reports and should be a ‘coaching’ role model.


Accountabilities will include:


Trading service delivery and achievement and maintenance of agreed service standards across the team.
In conjunction with Class Trading Underwriters monitor the location Underwriting capability index to ensure full capability.
Allocate/reallocate Trading work to ensure service standards are met and location’s resources optimised.
Ensure Trading competencies are developed to deliver business results and ODR and succession planning features for talent/key roles.


The successful individual will be either a Team Leader or Deputy Team Leader in an insurance company or broker background and be able to demonstrate a strong business and sales focus, with a track record of delivering to tight and demanding deadlines.
