Highly respected insurance company have an opening for an Underwriting Technician within their commercial property and liability division.


The successful applicant will provide a high quality and effective, technical and administrative support to Underwriters, working in the in department teams, liaising with underwriters and providing a prompt service using the company’s systems to meet brokers and clients needs.


Responsible for renewal preparation, production of policy documents and certificates for all new business, renewals debiting and handling and updating policies with adjustments and chasing and ensuring renewals are processed or lapsed within service standards.


The right individual will ideally have experience providing technical and administrative support within the classes of commercial combined, property, package, motor and casualty. This could be from either a company or broker background but should include experience in new business processing, adjustments, renewal and policy issuance.
