Our client, a Lloyd's Managing Agency, have a new role on for a Senior Aggregate Analyst. Responsibilities will include assisting in the management and administration of the Syndicate’s aggregate exposures within the limits defined by the Syndicate Business Plan, PML Committee or Board of Directors.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will be developing, testing and introducing new methods of collating and presenting exposure data to ensure the risk being faced by the Syndicate is identified and realised.
To review and report on possible new practises and approaches to the Aggregate process, be they internally via the PML Committee or externally from Modelling Companies etc
To implement and improve the Syndicates approach to visual mapping and the use of GIS reporting
To liaise with external parties, be they broking houses or external information suppliers to enable the Syndicate to view exposure risk from a number of different approaches. This will include advising such companies on best modelling practises and then intelligently interpreting and benchmarking results.
To implement and improve the Syndicates approach to the, perceived, secondary perils such as Flood and Tornado. This includes all pre-risking and reporting process for these perils
Management the accurate and timeliness of the production of relevant aggregate and modelling data to assist in the purchasing of reinsurance protections
Maintain the relationship with external software vendors including the management of system updates and system support. This includes the management of the relationship between internal IT support/development and the software vendors when required
Provide necessary support to the underwriting teams in any pre-risk underwriting process
