An exciting opportunity to join a well established and respected commercial Essex based insurance brokers as Sales Executive.


The role will involve providing a comprehensive insurance service to existing and potential new customers on all types of general insurance via the telephone, face to face or in writing. You be responsible for providing risk advice / risk management / risk prevention on both commercial motor and non-motor policies processing mid term adjustments, ensuring that covers commence at the correct time and all paper work is completed and premium collected. You will control your own diary system, assist customers with enquiries relating to claims either by direct involvement with the insurer concerned or providing contact names and details. As well as this you will be required to provide back office support to the Office Manager.


The right candidate will need to have a minimum of three years experience within a commercial broking department, have a thorough knowledge of general insurance practices, the UK general insurance market in respect of both personal and commercial insurances, underwriting factors and how these are applied, have experience with fleet, CAR, PI and ideally have dealt with haulage style risks.
