A Lloyd's Managing Agency have a new and exciting opportunity within their Professional Indemnity and D&O claims division.


They would consider either:


a) Someone with a minimum of 2-3 years claims’ adjusting experience within PI/D&O claims – either with a syndicate or company, preferably within London market environment; or
b) A Law graduate (Commercial Law) with a keen interest in developing a career within insurance


Training will be given by the Senior Claims Adjuster for these lines of business.



Minimum requirements:


Ability to work unsupervised and managing own workloads / priorities – candidate will have to take ownership and fully understand the accounts they will be working on
Ability to managing third party adjusters / lawyers and cover holders at a professional relationship level, including enforcing service level agreements and delegated authorities.
Ability to understand, reconcile and process large volumes of data produced on a monthly / quarterly basis (good analytical skills)
Must be able to produce written and data based reports (e.g. triangles, account level analysis, renewal statistics, etc.)
Must have experience of working closely with Underwriters, Brokers and XChanging
Good negotiation skills – and therefore be able to present well
Robust knowledge of Excel (proficient at intermediate level)
