A large insurance company seek a Motor Claims Manager with broad working knowledge of Motor claims classes and service requirements. You will have proven leadership skills and extensive claims experience. Your role will be to drive the claims relationship with agreed Strategic and National intermediary partners, internal underwriting and risk management teams. You will also be responsible for enhancing and promote the claims propositions in order to support new and retained business targets - with particular focus on the retail / corporate market
General Description
Lead, as appropriate and in conjunction with risk-mgt, the analysis, regular review and presentation of client claims experience to develop their understanding of claims costs and identify opportunities to improve the loss ratio.
Work with underwriting and distribution teams during new business process and renewal process to promote the companies proposition in order to support delivery of business plan GWP targets
As part of the Motor Claims Management team support the implementation and communication of a Claims strategy to support delivery of overall business targets .
Lead and manage a team of Claims staff to ensure that the overall output and quality of the service provided by the team is within specified levels.
Contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate processes, procedures and strategies for the Claims function to support delivery of business targets produce and develop propositions to support non standard claims arrangements to assist with development and retention of business and support team in managing subsequent claims.
Undertake detailed analysis of all customer feedback including the monthly customer survey, London Market and National broker satisfaction surveys
Make recommendations for maximising strengths or addressing remedial actions
Create and develop impactful literature and on-line presence to support the promotion of the claims proposition and the sharing of claims /market developments
Work cross class with Casualty, Property and Risk Mgt leads or co-ordinate activity as appropriate
Support the operational teams to ensure successful embedding of bespoke client arrangements, providing clear processes and communications
Lead or support claims projects /initiatives as required.
Essential Requirements
Proven Leadership skills
Broad working knowledge of Motor Claims classes and service requirements
Extensive Claims experience
Experience of managing internal and external relationships
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Able to produce detailed reports at various levels
Sales & negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills - ability to deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences
Knowledge of Ml creation techniques and software; creation of reports
