Our client are looking for a highly experienced Motor Claims Handler at manager level who is capable of dealing with an end to end motor claim. Candidates must enjoy working in a changing environment and be prepared to contribute to and develop new ideas and processes.


The Role:
To support the creation of a differentiated claims operation such that it can deliver market leading results.
Provide end-to-end claims handling skills to a developing department including FNOL, AD, TP property damage, TP personal injury claims.
To settle allocated claims as efficiently and economically as possible, within personal and policy limits, whilst providing a high standard of customer service.
To handle claims in the correct technical manner, in accordance with policy cover, legal liability, the function’s guidelines and regulatory guidelines.


You must be able to demonstrate:
Extensive proven experience within a motor claims department dealing with every aspect of the end to end fault claims process.
Thorough working knowledge of 1st and 3rd party claims processes.
Excellent negotiation skills, able to deal with policyholders, third parties and third party suppliers including solicitors.
A ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to pro-actively manage workload and prioritise tasks to ensure service standards are met.
