A City based Insurance company have an exciting opportunity for a claims specialist to take a leading role on the management of claims arising out of the Motor Fleet account . The successful applicant will be required to manage TPAs and will have the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.



Duties & Responsibilities


Take particular responsibility for management of all TPAs selected for the account to include audit, selection, performance measurement and improvement so as to meet and exceed service requirements; to include repair networks


Take on relationship management responsibilities which will entail developing accounts and retaining business by working with Insureds, Underwriters, brokers and coverholders.


Ensure up to date technical knowledge and understanding of current claims issues in the Motor world; and ensure that this knowledge is disseminated to claims and underwriting staff as required


Provide value and insight to the relevant Claims Management, Underwriters and Actuaries in respect of claims issues. Attendance at weekly underwriting meetings, monthly and quarterly actuarial meetings.


Apply company claims strategy and philosophy such as control of advisors, being proactive, ensuring adherence to the company reserving philosophy


Assist the relevant Claims Manager in the collation of data, production of reports and any other ad hoc requests.
