International Insurance company, seek a PMO Project Manager to join their busy team and to be involved with all phases of project management from investigations, feasibility study, project initiation, specification, testing and implementation.
The role will involve supporting the PMO Manager in establishing and maintaining the PMO function and defining project standards. The role involves working with users to specify business requirements where systems are developed, design procedures that are efficient and have the necessary controls and risk management, manage implementation processes with adequate acceptance processes to ensure safe business continuity and embedding of change, manage staff engaged on various projects to facilitate efficiency and coordination, ensure systems and processes are adequately documented and project control and to provide regular reports on project plans and budgets.
The right individual will have extensive project management experience, including as a project manager. They should also have in depth exposure to the insurance/reinsurance industry, predominantly direct general insurance experience. Significant experience of general insurance technical accounting and new regulatory requirements including Solvency II is also required.
