Exciting opportunity to join a prestigious Lloyd's Broker with a superb reputation and track record of continued growth within the London Insurance Market. My client is seeking an account's assistant initially on a 3 month contract, which will have the the potential to materialise into a permenant position.


Working with the assistant accountant you will be required to deal with the maintenance of the Non-Statutory Trust (NST) Bank Accounts in various currencies. Managing the production and distribution of client statements, and client credit control, in conjunction with account handlers. Posting of NST multi currency cheques and bank receipts, matching, and bank reconciliations. Maintenance of petty cash in GBP and other currencies. Dealing with staff Expenses. Maintenance of the purchase ledger (posting / settling invoices, and resolving supplier queries). Assisting in the preparation of management accounts / annual audit fieldwork requirements


The ideal candidate will have previous insurance accounting experience, preferably within a broker. Excellent bookkeeping knowledge is essential
