A leading insurance brokerage have a fantastic opportunity within their Property Owners/Motor team for a motivated Account Handler.
Detailed Description
· To effectively manage the claim procedure ensuring all clients are dealt with in a professional manner
· To negotiate renewals, seeking alternative quotations with Insurers where necessary
· To manage the renewal process within the remit of compliance procedures
· To ensure that all statutory and company regulations are adhered to
· To actively monitor own performance and sets individual targets
· Undertake mid term adjustments where required
· To maintain long lasting relationships with clients to assist with continuous business development.
· To ensure that specialist knowledge is utilised within the role
Candidates must have:
A broad understanding of personal lines insurance (i.e Motor Broker)
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
Ability to work well under pressure
Good IT skills
Good relationship management skills
Desirable:
Working towards or prepared to study for CII exams
“A” levels
