A respected insurer based in Essex seek a Senior Underwriting Technician within their Agriculture division. In accordance with the Syndicate’s underwriting requirements, responsibilities will include:


Considering and underwriting new business proposals, raising queries with brokers, processing where appropriate.


Considering terms and premiums for renewal business and process as appropriate.


Appling underwriting terms to adjustments.


Liaising with brokers as necessary.


Providing reports as necessary.


Advising and assisting staff as necessary.


Carrying out other related tasks as required.



The agriculture dept provides cover for farms & estates and the motor vehicles on these (including machinery, tractors, cars, vans, trailers, horseboxes).


Our client are looking for candidates with previous Motor underwriting experience - commercial vehicle rather than private car The successful applicant will be able to build good relationships and will also have strong communication skills.
