The role will involve trading with a range of brokers and handling the high level, complex cases. Responsible for account growth and development and for the underwriting integrity and profitability the position will include involvement in setting strategy, providing coaching guidance and mentoring to the underwriting team and playing a key role in the acquisition of new business and renewal retention.


There are terrific prospects for the right individual to play a key role in the set up of the operation and to help steer strategy from an underwriting perspective. There will be future options to either move into a greater Technical or Head Office post dependent on your preference.


The right individual will have experience underwriting a range of Commercial Property and Liability business and some exposure to mentoring and training of staff. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills you will also need to be able to demonstrate good sales skills and the ability to think on your feet.
