Our client, a reputable insurance company, seek a Motor Claims Technician due to an internal promotion. This role would suit a second jobber and prior claims experience is essential. Your role would be to effectively handle the First Notification of Loss within specified customer service standards, and authority levels.
Other duties will include pro-actively seeking to establish liability and indemnity on all claims being handled by them at any given time. You will be handling all aspects of the First Notification procedure on all new claims notified, and make necessary telephone enquiries, and action letters. Where appropriate, vet new claims, and give appropriate guidance on reserving and any action to be taken, using the New Claim Reserve Setting Form.
Essential Requirements include:
• Professional telephone technique.
• Experience of working in a client service environment
• Experience gained within the Insurance Industry
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
• Strong organisational and analytical skill, able to prioritise
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
