Exciting opportunity to join a major insurance group in a leading front line role. Trading with a range of brokers you will have autonomy and be responsible for the account development of a range of complex commercial business, both on a new and renewal basis.


From handling new business through to negotiating renewal cases you will be identifying, developing and enhancing relationships with key brokers and forging long term bonds that will ensure a continued stream of profitable business.


There are terrific prospects for the right individual to play a key role in the set up of this firms London operation and to help steer strategy from an underwriting perspective. There will be future options to either move into a greater Trading, Technical or Head Office post dependent on your preference.


The right individual will have experience underwriting a range of Commercial Property and Liability business and be experienced in the workings of the insurance and London markets. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills you will also need to be able to demonstrate good sales skills and the ability to think on your feet.
