Major London Market insurer has a rare opportunity to join a high level specialist unit focusing on the monitoring and reviewing of it's diverse underwriting business units.


Based from their city offices the role involves visiting and reviewing the different business units around the UK and monitoring and investigating underwriting activity against company strategy, levels and limits. The purpose of the review is to monitor the business in context with market conditions and to feed back to board level to help them understand performance and enhance their strategies in line with what is happening on the ground.


The role would suit someone from either a technical underwriting or claims background who has a strong eye for detail and who would enjoy an analytical and investigative role. Weighing up facts and providing reports to board level will also require highly polished communication and interpersonal skills.


Ideally ACII qualified the right individual will have a detailed understanding of processes and practices within insurance and, ideally London market and be able to relate to, communicate and build relationships with senior level managers and directors within the organisation.
