Our client, a large multinational Insurer, have an opportunity for a Claims Adjuster to join their Corporate Fleet
department. They are looking to recruit a Claims Adjuster experienced in handling cases involving Personal Injury. The Adjuster will be expected to effectively handle an individual caseload within specified customer service standards, and authority levels.


General Description


Pro-actively seek to establish liability and indemnity on all claims being handled by them at any given time.
Take telephone calls and action letters.
Effectively prioritise case load.
Manage all claims competently to ensure that they are properly reserved & settled at optimum cost.
Develop / maintain in depth knowledge of legal & regulatory matters essential to handling personal injury claims.
Act as a technical referral and/or mentoring point with the view to developing fellow members of staff.
Respond to customer / managerial requests in compliance with documented service standards.



Essential Requirements


Previous experience of handling motor claims involving personal injury & associated losses for an insurance company
Proven interpersonal skills (Confident liaising with internal / external parties at all levels on a range of issues)
Effective communication skills, written and verbal, demonstrated by experience liaising with internal / external parties at all levels
Ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with both internal /
external parties
Ability to organise workload, under pressure, whilst meeting tight deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative
