Our client, a leading insurance company in the City, are looking to recruit a Claims Adjuster to join their Casualty Claims team handling EL & PL claims.


General Description


Managing and resolving claims in a professional manner in order to provide
excellent claims handling service with minimal leakage


Effectively manage a caseload of Claims files prioritising new and existing work
appropriately


Managing and resolving claims in a professional and pro-active manner in order to
provide excellent claims handling service


Identify subrogation, contribution and other recovery issues


Providing professional service, combined with claims excellence and minimal
leakage


Compliance with both Statutory and Corporate service standards


Producing reports on existing and new claims


Ad-hoc reporting to underwriters and other stakeholders


Ensure claims files are compiled and maintained and that coverage and/or other
claims issues are clearly documented at all times


Essential Requirements


Good working knowledge of EL/PL or general Liability cases
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills
Effective presentation skills
Relationship Management Skills
Ability to use MS Office applications, Word. Excel, Access and produce simple
reports using this software
