Exciting opportunity for a property underwriter to join a highly focused team with ambitious growth plans for the coming year. Writing a range of property business from throughout the UK this organisation are looking to selectively target and write business, via their key broker relationships, following on from a significantly successful last twelve months.


Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with your brokers your role will be to underwrite profitable business in line with the company strategy and to protect the existing business currently within the account. Within the agreed parameters you will have full autonomy to negotiate and secure business though a senior team is on hand to provide assistance should you need it.


Previous experience underwriting UK property business is essential as is a good understanding of policy wordings, clauses and warranties. The person should be able to prove their ability to develop, nurture and capitalise on business relationships as the sales element is a fundamental key to success.


The role provides a superb opportunity to increase your exposure to a UK wide broker base and to make a name for yourself within the market using the autonomy you will be given. Coaching and mentoring is provided by a highly respected team of senior underwriters and you will also have the option of professional study support.
