Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Team Leader to join their expanding claims unit. The main purpose of the role is to manage an established team in the successful handling of Motor, PL & EL claims from first notification through to settlement.


Main Duties:

Overseeing and managing the claims team of 3.
Support claims advisors in understanding of the law, insurance policy coverage & claims procedures.
Complaints resolutions with difficult customers/third parties.
Liaison & instruction of insurers/solicitors on claim matters.
Manage liability decisions on EL matters.
Data analysis, reporting of claims & incident trends to relevant areas of the business.
Full understanding of policy coverage for claims.
Support offences administrator in challenging local authorities on issuing of PCN's.


Requirements:


Previous claims handling (including personal injury) experience.
Previous management experience.
Motor claims handling.
EL claims handling.
Insurance policy wording understanding.
Understanding of Road Traffic Act & Road Traffic Law.
Data Analysis.
Written Communication.
Computer literate.
