A leading insurance company in the City have an exciting opportunity within their Energy division. Your role will be to examine, evaluate and process, in an accurate and timely manner, reserves and
adjusted claim amounts in accordance with policy terms and conditions thereby
providing the level of service and meeting the obligations expected by the company. This will
be an office and Lloyd’s box based position.



General Duties


Pro-actively seek to establish liability and indemnity on all claims being
handled at any given time


Pro-actively negotiate claims


Ensure that client/broker needs are met within agreed service level standards


Effectively prioritise new claims and outstanding work


Effective Broker liaison expected



Essential Requirements


Substantial experience of handling Offshore and Onshore Energy claims
gained within the insurance industry


ACII qualified or progress towards completion of insurance qualifications


Proven interpersonal skills (confident liaising with internal / external parties at
all levels on a range of issues)


Ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with both internal /
external parties


Ability to organise workload, under pressure, whilst meeting tight deadlines


Ability to work on own initiative


Experience of dealing with electronic claims files
