Our client, a City based Insurance company, seek a Claims Operations Manager. The role will involve supporting the Head of Casualty and the claims leadership team with strategic operational support in order to deliver against the overall business targets.
General Description
To assist the leadership team in building and managing stakeholders at all levels
Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop key performance measures and processes to ensure consistency and cost effective delivery of service
Develop and deliver enhanced operational plans in line with current activity
To provide support and advice in reviewing and enhancing current reports whilst ensuring current management information responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and to a high quality standard
Produce and analyse management information, identify problems, analyse trends and implement corrective and preventative actions
Identify and manage risks and issues and make proactive recommendations for change.
Manage and monitor budget against performance targets
Assist with the management of audits
Essential Requirements
Experience of working in insurance claims
Experience of successfully supporting technical and operational strategy
Strong management, planning and leadership skills
Experience of working as part of a senior team within a multi-national insurance environment
Experience of working at a strategic level
Knowledge:
Graduate level
Member of Chartered Insurance Institute or working towards
Knowledge of Insurance classes and service requirements
Working knowledge of claims systems and procedures
Knowledge of MI creation techniques and software; creation of reports

Able to produce detailed reports at various levels
Able to use MS office applications, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
