Our client have a new position which has arisen within their Ecommerce team. The role will involve managing a team of five staff, and involve managing workloads, looking at process improvements & being involved with project work. It is essential that applicants have a good e-commerce background.
Role Purpose (Summary)
Plan team resources and times in accordance with the portfolio annual business plan
and be able to make recommendations appropriately and to ensure all critical daily
EDI, End of Day and MID tasks are adequately resourced.
Ensure tasks are performed to monitor and control the MID performance to guarantee
that compliancy is always met.
Assist the Operations Manager in delivering Springboard projects related to the
Division through to and incorporating business as usual management.
General Description
Manage and develop the Electronic Trading team members
Devise, recommend and implement enhancements to workflow, procedures, process reviews and documentation to improve the delivery and efficiency of the team
To co-ordinate change control processes for all MID, EDI and End of Day enhancements to new and existing procedures and system functions
To co-ordinate change control processes for all Springboard related activity to new and existing procedures and system functions
To co-ordinate, plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (MID, EDI and Springboard)
Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met
Test the EDI infrastructure to ensure that the EDI message formats are correct and can be accurately translated and loaded into the back-office system
Test the back-office EDI audit functions to ensure that all reports accurately report on the flow of EDI data
Liaise with external third parties to co-ordinate software releases and bug fixes
Communicate accurately and effectively to ensure information is delivered to all relevant parties as and when required
Supervise monthly software house transaction figures and external third party
invoices to control expenditure and costs
Coordinate Software House and Service Provider relationships
Essential Requirements
Extensive knowledge of Ecommerce trading
Proven experience of co-ordinating, planning and executing User Acceptance Testing
Intermediate analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lead and engage a team
Relationship management skills
