The team transacts UK and European domiciled Cargo, Haulage and Freight Liability, Commercial Hull and Liability business. A vacancy has arisen for an Underwriter within the Commercial Hull & Liability team.

The role will involve the day to day Underwriting and development of the account and you will enjoy face to face interaction with London Market brokers. You will have the opportunity to evaluate, discuss and negotiate terms and conditions with brokers face to face for new business, renewals and other enquries.

The right individual will ideally be educated to at least ‘A’ Level or equivalent, have some Marine and ideally Hull Underwriting experience, have proven communication and negotiation skills and be able to prove they can work well and effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
