Our client, a highly respected Insurance Company, have an opportunity for a motivated candidate with strong Excel skills to take data from the company's core system and put onto the MID (Motor Insurance Database).


Role Purpose (Summary)


Ensure that all critical routine MID, EDI and End of Day and tasks are always
adequately resourced so that the smooth operation of the team tasks are guaranteed at
all times


Ensure the regular day to day support tasks within the team are carried out to the
expected standard guaranteeing the smooth operation of MID, EDI and End of Day


Identify and raise any new electronic trading requirements to the Business Support
Manager


Participate in meetings, as required, to support the communication, development and
knowledge within the team



General Description


Conduct the analysis of the daily MID performance, ensuring compliancy will be met, identify and log any trends or areas of weakness


Ensure that issues are reported to the relevant support helpdesk in an accurate manner and satisfactory resolution is received in a timely fashion


Up-date procedures and internet areas as appropriate to ensure they continue to meet MID, EDI and End of Day requirements


Act as a point of reference providing assistance as and where necessary to the Electronic Trading Assistants


Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met


Participate in the process of applying continuous improvement to workflow and
processes


Provide support to change control processes to ensure they meet business
needs



Essential Requirements


Intermediate understanding of relevant software, including Excel and other departmental software packages
Analytical skills
Good telephone manner
Interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to analyse and use data for decision making
Ability to organise and prioritise work and meet deadlines
Ability to follow procedures and perform routine, daily tasks without
compromising accuracy and quality
