Exciting opportunity to join a growing commercial insurance underwriting agency who have an enviable track record of business success, in a newly created role.


Responsible for the sales and marketing performance of the unit this role involves: managing and leading business development and sales support staff, ensuring focus on delivery of key objectives; developing and maintaining a comprehensive personal development programme for staff; managing available external business development resource and ensuring commitments are delivered in line and within budget; ensuring all sales management information is available to enable effective review and managing relationships with key broker customers either by size or sensitivity of account.


The right individual could come from either an underwriting or broking background but should have a deep understanding of UK commercial insurance, in particular for commercial property, a track record of successfully managing staff to achieve sales objectives, proven account management skills and the abililty to think and operate strategically. ACII or progression towards would be an advantage.
