Opportunity to join a well known and highly respected international insurance / reinsurance company, reporting to the Operations Manager of the Underwriting & Reinsurance Review Department.


The successful candidate will be part of a team providing general support to the department including data analysis and the provision of management information.


The role will involve:


The production and management of various internal & external reports produced on a monthly/quarterly basis; The collation and analysis of underwriting statistics and management information across QBE European Operations for use by the department; The development & management of databases and spreadsheets to further enhance reporting capabilities; Bespoke project work for the Heads of Underwriting & Reinsurance Review; Close liaison with the Underwriting, Actuarial, Business Support & Compliance teams;


You must have the Ability to work within a team environment; Proven numeracy – eg A-level in Mathematics, Statistics or similar; Advanced Excel, Access and VBA skills; Good communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relations with key business areas; Attention to detail; Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; Word and PowerPoint skills would be beneficial but not essential. Previous insurance experience would be preferred
