Description
Triple A rated insurance organisation are looking for an Underwriter to join their Terrorism and Political Risks team within their Bermudan operation.
Responsible for underwriting and overseeing a worldwide account the right individual must have global underwriting experience. Joining a dynamic team of professionals you will share responsibility for the management and development of a portfolio of terrorism insurance and reinsurance business.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University, underwriting experience in terrorism insurance or reinsurance obtained in a major insurance market and a well developed network of broker and company contacts. You will also need strong communication skills, an ability to adapt and develop rating models in conjunction with actuarial support and the ability to work extended hours and undertake overseas travel on a regular basis.
