Description
Specialist London Market insurer with a great reputation and global reach have an opportunity for an Underwriter to strengthen their well known Cargo Team.
Responsible for managing and developing broker relationships you will be underwriting large and often complex London Market cases. Playing an active role and using your presence within the market you will both oversee and participate in the securing of new business and achieving renewal retention rates. Your role will be key to ensuring the implementation of the overall business plan and, with links up to CEO level, you will also have an opportunity to steer and influence underwriting and business strategy
The right individual will be a marine underwriter that can demonstrate the ability to develop and enhance business relationships, show an ability to underwrite profitably and to adapt to changing market conditions.
