Duties include identifying business needs, selection of suppliers, development of best practices, negotiation of contracts and ongoing supplier performance management. In addition the right individual will also support the Head of Claims Supply Chain in delivery of wider Claims Supply Chain across the group. The right individual will have broad experience of working in commercial insurance claims with an understanding of claims technical issues relevant to the performance of suppliers, experience of managing external organisations to ensure the delivery of business objectives and of working with various decision support and claims management systems including damages outcome calculators. You must also have proven communication skills, the ability to use MS office applications, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and be able to produce logical, well thought through MI, reports and processes.
