Description
Specialist underwriting agency with premier backers that focus on writing non-standard and high risk household insurances need an additional underwriter to grow their expanding team. Since establishing themselves they have grown from strength to strength and with a highly profitable account and demand continuing to increase they need an additional underwriter onboard.
You must have comprehensive experience underwriting profitable household policies, ideally from a new and renewal perspective. HNW exposure would also be an advantage. Your role will involve writing bespoke policies through a selective broker base and you will be accountable for achieving new business targets and renewal rates, as well as profitability figures.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to move into a position in which you will be responsible for your own brokers and accounts, to make a name for yourself within this specialist market and to have autonomy for your underwriting decisions.
