Senior Fleet Mid-Market Underwriter
Location: Hybrid – South East Regional Offices
About the Role:
A leading UK commercial insurer is seeking an experienced Senior Fleet Mid-Market Underwriter to join their Commercial team. The successful candidate will underwrite and manage mid-market fleet insurance portfolios, build strong relationships with brokers, and contribute to profitable business growth. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely for part of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite mid-market fleet accounts accurately and profitably.
Develop and maintain strong trading relationships with brokers.
Support the acquisition of new business opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations based on account monitoring and market analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent underwriting practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience in commercial fleet underwriting.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Commercial awareness and ability to build broker relationships.
Understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
