As company founder Matthew has built Harrison Holgate from the core principles of long term partnerships, trust and transparency.
Initially commencing his career within the insurance industry Matthew worked within Claims, Underwriting & Sales before moving into recruitment with a large PLC firm. With a 15 year track record successfully recruiting within Underwriting, Broking and Claims Matthew now focuses on running and growing the Underwriting and Broking unit.
As a founding member of Harrison Holgate Paul has strengthened the growth of Harrison Holgate from its early beginnings. With an extensive track record delivering successfully from Claims Director to Claims Assistant level, Paul possesses a first-rate knowledge of the claims and reinsurance market and has an extensive personal contact network gained through more than 15 years recruiting within his niche. Paul is fully FIRP Cert RP qualified and is the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) champion for the firm.
Ian has joined Harrison Holgate with over twenty years of general insurance recruitment experience mainly operating in the London Market but with substantial experience of placing across the regions too. His role is to lead the growth strategy of our flagship underwriting and broking business. Ian has a proven experience at working at a senior level having built up strong relationships placing across both markets and can add substantial expertise in any recruitment process. Ian takes the time to network across the markets and understand the relationships in each sector in order to be successful.
Lauren has joined Harrison Holgate with a strong 7 years of recruitment experience focusing on the City client base by growing and developing teams whilst always working closely with clients and candidates. Her experience reflects a true recruitment professional who takes the time to network and understand all requirements for what her candidates and clients are looking for.
Lauren specialises in Senior Account Handlers, Account Executives, Underwriters and Underwriting Managers, focusing on delivering a quality service in an open transparent manner. She will be working across the London and regional general insurance markets for the Senior Underwriting and Broking sectors.
With an extensive 15-year track record recruiting as a London market specialist, Clare brings solid experience in recruiting for roles in underwriting and broking support and operations, secretarial, HR and marketing functions. Clare has built strong relationships and is adept at targeting the industry’s experienced and up-and-coming talent.
Katie has joined Harrison Holgate with 3 years’ experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant with a nationwide recruiter. Having always worked in permanent recruitment Katie prides herself on her dedication in taking the time to understand the requirements of both clients and candidates in order to successfully manage the recruitment process in a transparent and consultative manner.
Her specialisation covers the London and the provincial general insurance markets for the Senior Underwriting and Broking sectors.
Claire-Marie (Clem) is a highly experienced insurance recruiter with 20 years’ experience. She has built a strong network of candidates and clients throughout this time and many return to her. She specialises in recruiting for positions in underwriting and broking support and operations, secretarial, HR and marketing.
Lucy works as a Researcher, sourcing candidates for the London general insurance market, with a remit across roles ranging from underwriting and broking to more generic support roles. Lucy has 18 months’ previous experience and has already hit the ground running in supporting the team to find exceptional candidates and provide a quality service.
