Based in the Bermuda office of this established insurance broker you will oversee the broking teams and personnel and be the liaison between client and insurers.
Within the role you will maintain existing close working relationships with key contacts in the London and European Insurance market, develop, maintain, and expand relationships of existing broking clients, including new business placement, renewals, and complicated claims handling and develop an overall strategic and business plan to drive new business growth for the department.
You will inherit an existing book of business, however, this will need to managed and developed in line with agreed strategy.
It is essential that you have many years of experience in the London insurance market and a comprehensive London-based knowledge of Financial Institution, Commercial D&O, Cyber and Professional Lines products.
Exceptional relationship and management skills would also be a key attribute.
