A leading Lloyd's Syndicate seek a Marine and Energy Claims Adjuster to join their growing team. It will involve handling Marine Liability, Cargo, Hull and Energy claims from first advice through to final settlement. A good knowledge of ECF would be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities
Handle specific class of business, Marine Cargo, Marine Liability, Hull, Specie and Energy claims, for which claims authority has been agreed with the Head of Claims.
Ensure the Lloyd's Syndicate meets internal and external standards for claims handling and customer service in particular by ensuring ECF and paper file turnaround times are met.
Manage end to end claims processes through the use of Syndicate systems.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and brokers and third party experts.
Liaise with underwriters to maintain a valuable flow of information on claims issues and their impact on underwriting and policy interpretation.
Actively manage loss adjusters and other experts to ensure that claims and expert fees are managed appropriately and in a timely manner.
Maintain strong communication and advise the head of department on any relevant claims movements/issues/trends.
