IT Manager – Insurance - IT Operations - Infrastructure - Projects - Systems - Network - Supplier Management
An Insurance Business is looking for an IT Manager to join their business as the first in-house IT individual. Historically this business has been using outsourced providers for all of their IT and have recognised a need to have someone in-house to ensure the changes are made within the right timeframe, budget and to the business needs.
You will be working with the outsourced providers and coordinating any changes within the business. The aim over time is to in-source some of the IT so a great opportunity for the right person to be able to lead this. This would suit an individual who has been an IT manager within a smaller organisation or someone who has been a number 2 to the IT manager in a larger organisation and looking for a step up.
You will have proven track record in driving IT changes ideally within the insurance market (market experience not essential). You will also have knowledge of change management processes, office business applications, software development methodologies and experience managing 3rd party supplier relations.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
They operate on a flexible working pattern with their office situated in London.
