Assistant Underwriter - North American Property Treaty
A partnered client of mine, a leading specialty insurer, is currently looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join their North American Property Treaty team due to growth.
Salary: up to £75,000
Location: City of London
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a very profitable, established, and dynamic team within the Treaty arena. This role offers excellent opportunities for learning and development within the business, as well as progression in the long term.
This will be a hands-on role in which you will sit with the underwriters, assisting with administrative support as well as shadowing in order to learn as much as you can about the team's portfolios and appetite.
This is a unique opportunity, as my client is also open to candidates from different lines of business who may be looking to get into Treaty underwriting. Reinsurance experience is not a must but would also be beneficial.
The minimum requirement is 5 years in either Broking or Underwriting, as well as the eagerness and commitment to make the transition.
