Catastrophe Modelling Analyst

I am currently partnered with a leading global insurer, who is looking for a Catastrophe Modelling Analyst to join their ever-growing Exposure Management team based in London. 

The ideal candidate will have some experience with risk analytics modelling and keen to develop their career within a sophisticated portfolio analytics team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in Risk Analytics Modelling, with experience using one of the following: RMS RiskLink, RMS Risk Manager, Touchstone Re or AIR
  • Knowledge and experience of the (re)insurance industry and understanding of insurance terminology (desirable)
  • Advanced Excel skills (Essential)
  • Coding experience in SQL (desirable)
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI (desirable)
  • Experience using DFA tools and underwriting administration systems (desirable)
  • A confident communicator, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels, including Underwriters.
