Real Estate Account Handler – Leading Global Brokerage (London, Finchley)

Our client, a highly respected and expanding international insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Account Handler to join their specialist Global Real Estate team based in Finchley.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most established and successful real estate broking teams in the London Market.

As a Real Estate Account Handler, you will be responsible for providing high-quality day-to-day servicing and administration for a diverse portfolio of UK and European property owner and real estate clients. You’ll act as a key point of contact within the account team, managing relationships with clients ranging from commercial property owners to large corporate accounts.

• Deliver exceptional day-to-day service across clients’ insurance programmes, ensuring high retention and satisfaction levels.

• Obtain and negotiate quotations for both new and renewal business.

• Research, prepare, and present renewal reports to Account Executives.

• Manage credit control processes, track premium payments, and escalate overdue items where necessary.

• Prepare professional market presentations and documentation.

• Review policy documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Handle client and insurer queries efficiently, including mid-term adjustments and changes in cover.

• Identify client risk exposures and provide appropriate insurance and risk management solutions in collaboration with Account Executives.

• Produce management information as required.

• Coordinate and manage global insurance programmes, liaising with international offices as needed.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client and insurer relationships.

• Act as a client advocate, ensuring service delivery aligns with their needs and expectations.

• Seek continuous improvement opportunities to enhance service and add client value.

• Support insurer relationship management through feedback and collaboration.

• Broaden knowledge across non-real estate lines, such as financial lines or casualty risks.

• Proven experience in an Account Handler role within the insurance industry, within Real Estate.

• Solid technical understanding of property risks and related casualty lines.

• Strong communication skills, with confidence in attending external client meetings.

• A proactive, professional individual with the enthusiasm and ambition to grow and develop within a leading brokerage environment.
