Overview
Our client, a well-regarded wholesale insurance brokerage in the London Market, is looking to appoint a Cross Class Technician to support their broking teams across multiple lines of business. This role will play a key part in the technical processing and administration of risks from placement through to post-bind activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure accurate documentation, efficient processing, and high service standards across a range of classes including Property, Casualty, and Specialty lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to broking teams across multiple classes of insurance

• Prepare and process Market Reform Contracts (MRCs), endorsements, slips, and supporting documentation

• Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of risk and policy data within internal systems

• Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and operations teams to facilitate the smooth placement and processing of risks

• Produce debit notes, credit notes, and other policy documentation where required

• Assist with the binding process and post-placement documentation

• Monitor outstanding documentation and ensure contract certainty requirements are met

• Maintain accurate records and support compliance with London Market standards

Key Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Technician within the London Market or insurance broking environment

• Exposure to multiple classes of business (cross-class) is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of London Market documentation and processes

• Familiarity with Market Reform Contracts (MRC) and related placement documentation

• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage workloads across multiple brokers and classes of business

• Strong organisational and communication skills
