I am working with a London Market brokerage who are seeking an experienced Motor Fleet Insurance Broker with strong expertise in European commercial motor risks. The role will focus on placing and managing motor fleet insurance programmes for clients operating across multiple European jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will have strong relationships with insurers writing cross-border fleet business, understand regulatory and compliance differences across European markets, and be able to structure competitive and compliant programmes.

Client Management

• Manage and grow a portfolio of motor fleet clients operating across Europe.

• Provide strategic advice on fleet risk management, programme design, and insurance placement.

• Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring high service standards and retention.

Insurance Placement

• Design and place motor fleet programmes across European territories.

• Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms and coverage.

• Prepare market submissions and manage renewal negotiations.

European Market Expertise

• Advise clients on insurance requirements across multiple European jurisdictions.

• Understand differences in local motor regulations, compulsory limits, and claims frameworks.

• Work with local partners or network brokers where required.

Claims & Risk Advisory

• Support clients with complex motor claims across different countries.

• Provide guidance on fleet risk management, driver risk, and loss reduction strategies.

Business Development

• Identify opportunities for new motor fleet business across Europe.

• Build relationships with fleet operators, logistics companies, and multinational businesses.

• 5+ years experience in motor fleet broking (commercial motor).

• Demonstrated experience placing European or multinational motor fleet programmes.

• Strong insurer relationships within the motor fleet market.

• Experience with large or complex fleets (logistics, transport, or multinational operations preferred).

• Proven negotiation and client relationship skills.
