We are partnering with a highly respected and well-established London Market brokerage seeking an experienced International Marine Producing Broker to join its expanding team.
This opportunity would suit a commercially driven and entrepreneurial broker with a proven track record of generating and placing international Marine business. The successful individual will be given the autonomy, market access and support required to further develop their portfolio within a highly regarded broking platform.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrable experience producing and placing International Marine risks within the London Market.
- Established network of overseas clients, retail brokers, intermediaries and key trading partners.
- Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
- Strong technical knowledge across Marine classes including Cargo, Marine Liability, Hull & Machinery, Freight Forwarders Liability, Ports & Terminals, Logistics Operators and related Marine exposures.
- Experience negotiating and placing complex risks with Lloyd's and company market underwriters.
- Strong understanding of international insurance markets and placement strategies.
- Commercially focused with the ability to manage and grow a profitable portfolio.
- Existing book of business or the potential to transition client relationships would be highly advantageous.
