Our client, a vibrant Lloyd's Syndicate, have a new opening for a Reinsurance Manager. The successful applicant will act as the focus for all Ceded Reinsurance technical accounting and processing procedures and the production of all relevant internal and external information. This role would suit a Senior Reinsurance Technician looking to step up, or an established Reinsurance Manager with management experience. A knowledge of XL Pro isn't essential, but would be advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
Production of all ceded reinsurance recoveries (consultation with the claims department as required)
Maintain the XL Pro ceded reinsurance system (record, recovery & ledger)
Month end netting down process
Reinsurer aged and bad debt
Review all ceded facultative reinsurance contract documentation
Reinsurance exposure and maintenance of the Approved Security Listing
Production of high-level ceded reinsurance MI and reporting for internal purposes.
