A leading Insurance organisation are currently recruiting for an Operations Executive to start immediately on a 12 Month Fixed Term contract. There is a distinct opportunity for this role to convert to perm.
Purpose of the role
To work with the COO fraternity to ensure that operational objectives are exceeded and principles are followed.
Responsible for managing, implementing and monitoring effectiveness of policy changes and controls. Evolution of operational control framework ensuring the business develops in line with external and internal requirements and demands.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities;
- Follows the direction set by the CEO, COO and regional Executive Committee. May participate in developing policy and strategic plans.
- As appropriate, provides support to the CEO/COO in the preparation of the annual budget, Town Hall events and developmental strategies.
- Ownership of specific subjects as business as usual, including but not limited to; office space, TOBA’s, BP’s, authorisations, policy and procedures, competence framework, regulatory reporting and changes, market developments, project management, system implementation and upgrades, business reporting, internet and intranet content, business content to support creation of marketing material, risk framework, disaster recovery, operational MI, population of dashboard reporting, provision of services from shared services, intercompany service agreements, data retention, NDA’s, operational templates and third party licence agreements
Candidate Profile
- Working knowledge of insurance business.
- Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, reinsurers and associates.
