An exciting opportunity has opened with our client, a well-established Insurance Brokers who are recruiting for a knowledgeable and motivated Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day operations of the office, motivating, challenging, and developing staff. You will be responsible for the compliance, IT, systems, HR, IBA Accounting and Facilities.

Key duties will include, but not be limited to, liaising with the Head of Compliance in relation to Terms of Business Agreement (TOBA) management, complaints management, SMRC and Connect applications and monthly file reviews, liaising with IT for ad-hoc projects and other admin tasks, day to day systems administration, reporting and dashboards, systems projects, and data issues queries, liaising with Group HR in handling new starters and leavers, liaising with the payroll department to ensure smooth running of payments, conducting commission / bonus reviews and cross sales calculations. You will also be responsible for supervising the IBA team, credit control and receivables monitoring, Xchanging operations, assisting with cancellations and non-ordinary transactions, premium credit, and client money audits. You will offer support to the Group facility management and other office service providers for the smooth running of the building.

Suitable applicants will have knowledge in all the main classes of General Insurance, and the CII’s Code of Ethics and GDPR, excellent knowledge of product range, policy wordings and service standards, in-depth understanding of office management and daily operations and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
