An established and well known Lloyd’s Broker is recruiting for an Insurance Finance Technician to join its Technical Processing department in response to significant growth in business activity.
This role was created to continue the delivery of high quality insurance transaction processing and management information to the senior management of the Company.
The successful applicant will be responsible for raising transaction journals in the company’s advanced multi-currency accounting systems, submission of premiums to the Insurance Market Repository (IMR) and the resolution of queries relating to these submissions, resolution of accounting and technical queries arising from colleagues, clients and insurers, ensuring that Premiums to be paid via the IMR are apportioned correctly and submitted to Xchanging in accordance with the Settlement Due Dates and other ad hoc statistical exercises as may be required.
Applicants must have relevant IBA / technical processing experience and be comfortable using insurance market processing systems e.g. Xchanging, IMR etc., have strong Excel skills and proven record-keeping skills within a systems-oriented environment.
