A highly reputable global Insurance company are currently recruiting for a Project Analyst to work in the COO Office
The COO Office is accountable for day-to-day organisation, coordination and reporting of COO priorities, ensuring appropriate levels of stakeholder engagement and troubleshooting of issues.
Where required the role will lead on special projects or initiatives as defined by the COO.
The COO Office Analyst will report into the Head of COO Office and be a key part of the COO Team. The role calls for a sound understanding of key Operations disciplines. It requires outstanding relationship management skills in conjunction with an unrelenting focus on execution and continuous improvement.
Summary of responsibilities
- Act as the key day to day interface between COO Office and the COO function
- Support reporting and presentation preparation (Board, Executive, Internal and External communications)
- Track and support COO Function performance indicators and reporting / escalation
- Trouble shooting issues as identified by the COO and Head of COO Office
- Champion the COO Function communications strategy, execution and monitoring, ensuring key information is shared and disseminated
- Ensure compliance to Group policies and Internal Audit requirements, maintaining an available auditable trail as needed
- Support on key projects as required
- Meeting organisation, coordination and actions management
Skills and experience required:
- Strong communication skills including influencing, stakeholder management and presentation
- Solid project management or PMO experience
- Work at speed given complex and difficult technical situations, with strong prioritisation skills
- Problem-solving/ can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexible and adaptable to change, able to contribute in an entrepreneurial environment
- Commercially aware, understanding the needs of both the COO Function and broader stakeholder groups
- Detail orientated with analytical mindset
