Our client, a Lloyd's Syndicate, have an exciting new opportunity for a Claims Adjuster. Responsibilities will include handling an interesting blend of direct and reinsurance Property, Cyber, Aviation and Space claims. Territories covered will include the U.S., South America and Asia.

There will be full support given with professional qualifications and this is an incredible chance for a Property claims candidate to join a Lloyd's Syndicate and have exposure to new lines of business which you will be trained on.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing claims across all classes of business within the Lloyd's Syndicate: residential and commercial property, property cat reinsurance, agriculture reinsurance;

• Managing claims across all lines of business in the Syndicate and assisting with follow oversight requirements;

• Processing and maintaining claim files, diary and static claims management;

• Oversight and monitoring of DCAs;

• Oversight and monitoring of outsourced vendor;

• Assisting in the production of MI and Board reports;

• Providing analysis and oversight of claims performance and portfolio performance;

• Assisting with the reserving and valuation process for the syndicates and funds;

• Assisting with compliance and regulatory requirements as part of a claims function;

• Some travel to other international offices, DCAs and MGAs.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous (re) insurance industry claims experience;

• Experience with residential and commercial lines property claims, desired but not necessary;

• Experience with property reinsurance claims, desired but not necessary;

• Familiar with Lloyd's underwriting and customer minimum standards and reporting;

• Must be proficient with the Microsoft applications;

• Efficient, self-motivated, a good written and verbal communicator;

• Not afraid to take on new classes of business and new projects.
